TrackSEO helps merchants optimize Shopify products with improved product descriptions, SEO titles, SEO descriptions, and image alt text generated from the existing product data.
TrackSEO currently needs product permissions so it can read Shopify products and write optimized product content back to Shopify.
No. The core workflow is built around product and shop data. TrackSEO does not intentionally use customer names, addresses, payment details, or order histories for product SEO optimization.
Depending on the settings, TrackSEO can optimize product descriptions, the search engine listing, and image alt text. Merchants can enable the parts they want, but the recommended setup is to keep all SEO targets enabled.
If the daily trigger is enabled, TrackSEO checks once per day for products that are still not optimized and queues them for optimization until the plan limit is reached.
The free plan includes up to 50 product optimizations per month. Basic includes up to 500 optimizations per month, Premium includes up to 2,000 optimizations per month, and Gold includes up to 5,000 optimizations per month.
Yes. When an optimization runs successfully, the selected SEO fields are written back to Shopify. The local app cache stores status and key SEO metadata, but Shopify remains the system of record for the product content itself.
